Have a pattern you love? Ever wish you could change a few details to get more mileage out of that pattern and add variety to your wardrobe? Use Pattern Hacking to modify parts of a pattern and create different looks. If you know the basics of apparel sewing, you can learn to re-style a t-shirt pattern to create something new. In this class, we will use mini pattern piece samples* to practice re-styling a simple t-shirt pattern. We’ll add a turtleneck, a cowl neckline, a swing-style tunic, a long sleeve, a flutter sleeve, and even a simple cardigan! Join us for a fun evening of wardrobe expanding possibilities! Students should be familiar with simple clothing patterns and construction. This is a great follow-up class to our Custom Fit T-Shirt Class.
*Please note, we will not be using sewing machines or working with full-size patterns in this class. However, if you have a question about your t-shirt pattern, you are welcome to bring the pattern to class with you. If there is time at the end of class, the instructor will try to answer your question.
